CHOOSING YOUR PLUMBING FIXTURES

In today’s day and age, there are endless options when it comes to choosing a plumbing fixture for your bathroom or powder room. The style of your home you have will play a significant role in your decision process for your plumbing fixtures. If you have a home that is more of a modern style, you will want to lean towards bathroom fixtures that offer a more sleek and clean look. Whereas a Spanish or Old World style, you will want to find accessories that may provide more detailed and luxurious design.

Fixtures used to come in a few varieties of metal finishes; now we can have a complete custom fixture set. So when picking out your fixture, make sure you match with the rest of your shower decor, to keep the theme consist. Whether you are going for a more modern stainless-steel sleek look or more of a rustic brass look, you can achieve the most optimal design with your bathroom.

SHOWER & BATH PLUMBING FIXTURE OPTIONS

Rainfall Shower Head- Overhead full coverage rainfall showerhead. The water can either come out of the ceiling or a fixture that sits over your head.
Wall Mount- This is going to be the most basic of shower head option, but it is the standard and functional choice.
Body Sprayer- This offers futile settings of water sprayer, and it is a handheld option that allows the body sprayer to be adjusted and mobile.
Dual Fixtures- This would be an option to have more than one plumbing fixture in the shower, which is an ideal option in a master bedroom.

BATHROOM SINK STYLES
Integrated Sink
– Integrated sinks are an excellent option for a master bathroom. They allow for a large sink opening and use the same material throughout, giving the space a more custom, streamlined feel. Since the sink and countertop are one continuous piece, plumbing installation is often more straightforward, with fewer joints and connections needed beneath the sink. This also allows for more flexibility with plumbing fixtures and helps maintain the simple, sleek look of the adjacent counter material.

Console Sink- This is an option that is a wall mounted sink, with legs. There are varieties and styles, depending on the look that you are going for. If you have more of a
French Country style, try going for exposed pipes to give it more of a rustic feel. This will also give you the opportunity to match your plumbing fixtures to the exposed plumbing. Brass and gold work perfect for this style!

Undermount Sink- If you are looking for more of a classic and traditional style bathroom sink, Undermount is the best way to go. With this option, you can go with more of the conventional style fixtures. This gives you the opportunity to choose more of the standard look but still provides a wow factor to any powder or bathroom. Polished or Brushed Metal is a perfect match for a classic undermount sink.
Vessel Sink- If you are looking for the perfect option for your powder room, a vessel will do the trick! A Vessel sink sits on top of the countertop, so the bowl is usually going to be a little bit smaller, so it is not as ideal for a master bathroom or a bathroom that has high traffic. Picking out a vessel sink will also allow for creativity with matching plumbing fixtures to go with. If you have more of a French or Spanish style in your home, go with an elaborate design with your vessel and fixture to wow anyone who comes to your home.
