The easiest way to incorporate natural elements into your home is by adding natural wood accents.  Choosing pieces with a raw finish or live edge will highlight will add a unique natural element into the space. This is a great way to make it feel like you’re bringing some of the outdoors in.  For example, adding natural wood elements to your kitchen island is a great way to add some contrast to your design. Here is a great example of a French Country Kitchen design we did. Adding wood to the countertops added a unique natural element to this kitchen and is cost-efficient.

NATURAL STONE ELEMENTS

Natural stone surfaces are a sophisticated way to bring natural materials into your decor. Stone can be implemented almost anywhere in the home. This includes flooring, countertops, accent walls, and fireplaces. There are endless amounts of options and using stone also adds value to the home. In this home, we used stone throughout the house. For instance, we covered this wall in stone to bring texture into the space and create an inviting and natural look.

An obvious way to add nature to your decor is to add charming houseplants.  Houseplants are a great and easy way to add color to a room and harmonize a space. Adding greenery will elevate the room and paired with a stylish planter will complete the look.
